A Coolbreeze QAC 160 in slate grey on a single storey tiled roof with 6 ceiling outlets. The Casacade model with its “sloping base” shape matches most roof pitches to give an improved look. The system has been operating without problems for over 10 years as it has the Water Manager to automatically wash the celdek pads and automatically drain the water at the end of each use.

Mercury installed 2 x commercial evaporative cooling systems to a textile business in Thomastown. The units selected were the twin fan Coolbreeze D500 and were flashed up to the ridge capping. The drains were run down to the gutter and the Evaporative Coolers allow the mezzanine floor to be used by staff through hot days where before the temperature upstairs was too hot for staff to work.

The D500 twin fan Coolbreeze Evaps have been operating without fail for 10 years providing both cooling and fresh air/ventilation from car exhaust or fumes inside the building. The outlet plenums were installed to the same height as the rest of the ceiling ducting to not limit the clearance from the ground.
