Project Description
A two storey townhouse with a slab floor and pitched roof had 2 x Airsmart SDS fan coils installed – one in a bulkhead at the rear of the garage, the other in the ceiling cavity upstairs. 2 x Air Conditioning condensors were used to give a total of 34kWs of AC to be able to cool 100% of the home. A Bosch Hydronic boiler was also utilized to provide zoned heating when required or also the capacity to heat the whole home. As with most SDS installations the benefits of the small solid pressurized 250mm trunk and 100mm flexible duct are easy to install through posi-struts and between floors without compromising performance and eliminating the need for bulkheads or dropped ceiling inside the home.
