Individual panel heaters can be split into two different categories:
RADIANT HEATERS
Radiant heaters are silent, maintenance free and have no moving parts. They operate with a thermostat and have an optional fully programmable 7-day digital timer. In operation they may take a little longer to heat an area but provide a more even room temperature - (they work on the same principle as "slab heating" or "hydronic heating").
CONVECTION HEATERS
Fan Forced Convection Heaters have a fan to provide instant warmth from the moment they are turned on. They are quiet and come in a variety of sizes to suit a range of different sized rooms.
