Evaporative Cooling works by running water over special "Celdek Filter Pads" and then drawing large volumes of air through the wet pads into the home. When the air passes through the Pads some of the water will evaporate which cools the air. It does not make the air cold but just comfortable.
It is a very cost effective alternative for cooling a whole house. It is a ducted system through the ceiling that operates on air change.
Melbourne conditions require 30-35 air changes per hour, so every 2 minutes the Evaporative cooler will expel the entire volume of air inside the house to outside. For this reason doors and windows must remain open when running. The house never becomes stuffy because the air is never re-circulated.

The square 4 way outlets are quite large, from 300mm/30cm/12 inches to 400mm/40cm/16 inches to allow this large volume of air to enter the rooms. Larger outlets suit larger rooms. Each bedroom and living room will require 1 or more outlets.
Even larger Evaporative Coolers are very inexpensive to operate. Studies show that operating costs are normally between 5 to 10 cents per hour. So even on hot days an Evaporative Cooler will usually cost less than $1.00 to operate all day.

| FEATURES |
- Fan only mode doesn't use any water. For high humidity days or days where you may just want fresh, filtered air inside the house.
- Cool mode is most commonly used. Water and fan to cool the house.
- Auto set and forget - set a temperature and the system will select the appropriate fan speed.
- Exhaust mode - the unit runs in reverse and extracts the air through the outlets to eliminate cooking odours or smoke. You can use this mode all year round.
- Timer can set the system to turn on or off. An Evaporative cooler will cool your house in a matter of minutes so there is no real need to preset it to turn on, so we recommend using the timer on hot nights. Simply set the timer for a few hours and it will turn off, then wash and seal itself ready for use again in 1 day, 1 month or 1 year.
